In this Knowledge Session, we will be providing a demonstration of Jet Budgets, a product from the Jet Global family including Jet Reports and Jet Analytics. As the name suggests, Jet Budgets is an application that allows you to create organisation-wide budgets in a streamlined and efficient manner, using workflow functionality and the data inside your Business Central or Dynamics NAV system. With Jet Budgets, a finance team can quickly and efficiently acquire budgeting information from relevant people across their organisation that usually contribute, e.g. departmental managers.
The Jet Budgets product allows finance managers or budget owners to disseminate information out to people and then collect the information back in one central place. Data can be pulled from Business Central into the budget, meaning it removes the manual processes that are usually prone to error. It also simplifies the processes for members of the organisation who are new to budgeting in this way, making the same use of the strong Microsoft Excel foundation that Jet Reports does. You also have the power to add in authorisation processes if you need to and permissions can be set from within the Jet Hub.
With one central place for your data and budget, you aren't having to juggle multiple spreadsheets and rely on copy and pasting, all of which is prone to error. As well as this, utilising the power of Jet Reports means you can pull information from Business Central or Dynamics NAV alongside Jet Budgets to make use of formulas, formatting and the full functionality array it can offer. Jet Budgets sits inside the Jet Hub. If you have the Jet Hub installed already and a licence with which to use it, the application will appear immediately for you and doesn't need to be installed. An easy, quick way of getting your hands on some budgeting software and organising your potentially flawed processes.
